With the publication of the catalogue of French porcelain began a collaboration with Rietumu Bank Latvian museums

This year – the anniversary of Rietumu Bank in all respects. 25 years marks the Bank itself, 10 years – his Charity Fund. Then, in the year of Foundation of the Fund 10 years ago, the Bank started a wide cooperation with the art museums of Latvia.

During this time Rietumu Bank has supported more than a dozen exhibitions held in different Museum spaces.

Special mention deserves to be held in Riga in 2007, the Bank supported the exhibition of French sèvres porcelain and the publication of a catalogue dedicated to the unique works of Sevres, which operates in France to this day. This marked the beginning of the program of publication of art catalogs: in subsequent years, with the support of the Bank took a number of such books, which can be judged on various areas of world art.

In fact, since its creation in 1740 and still the Sevres manufacture is under the direct patronage of the state and the national pride of France. She was a witness to many historical events: here is manufactured porcelain for king Louis XV, and later, the manufacture has received an official Royal status and became the main supplier of porcelain in the Palace of Versailles. Sevres porcelain is the finest level of quality, fine taste and elegance. It is still made by hand only in one or two instances, while each piece is an original design and is a true work of art.

Directory dedicated to Sèvres porcelain, was found in Latvia, most beautiful book of the year, – such decision was accepted by results of competition for competent professionals. Subsequently, with the assistance of Rietumu were published such books as: "the Collection of Belgian art of the XX century Museum of foreign art", "Art Nouveau and Art Deco in Niderlandah"; "the Silver age. Russian art from the Museum collections of the Baltic countries. 1890-1930", showing during the development of painting for a period of 40 years; "Piranesi. Ancient Rome", which allows to make a conclusion about the ancient Roman architecture, and others.

In the near future with the help of Rietumu Bank will be released new catalogue dedicated to the works of Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky in Latvia and German collections.
