Yelena Baturina invests tens of millions in the sun

Owned by Elena Baturina company Inteco Beteiligungs continues to develop the project on the obtaining, use and sale of renewable energy in Europe. According to some European media, in October the Austrian company completed the acquisition of another solar Park in Greece, near the town of Farsala, reports Interfax.

According to previously announced plans, the total amount of investment structures Elena Baturina, the project can reach €20 million in the coming year. Representatives of the company evaluate the profitability of the acquired Park €500 million annually.
Experts note that the use of the amount of energy that produces a relatively small solar Park in Farsala, will annually avoid the emission of 800 tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

Press Secretary businesswoman Gennady Terebkov has confirmed the deal and said that the main activity of this joint venture is the construction and commercial operation of solar parks in the South and South-East Europe – so to fields in Greece for the project was acquired solar Park in Italy.

Currently, the company is considering a number of proposals to expand capacity; preparations for the acquisition of new sites, which will significantly increase the power produced by solar energy.

Earlier this year, Yelena Baturina in an interview with the Austrian edition Wirtschaftsblatt said: "the Future of the project, we see not only in increasing the number of parks and the corresponding increase in production capacity, but also in the dissemination of technology that allows to optimally use and save the resulting energy."
No less interesting entrepreneur named another direction of development of its energy project: the installation and operation of individual onsite solar panels directly on the roofs of enterprises-consumers of energy. "A number of these contracts is at the stage of signing, so maybe soon we will exceed the stated for the project volume of investment," she said.

After the sale in 2011 of its main asset in Russia – construction holding "Inteko" and a translation of the main part of the business operations in Europe Elena Baturina manages quite successfully to develop in the West, commercial projects of various subjects: hotel business (chain of 4 hotels in Ireland, Austria, the Czech Republic and Russia), the membrane system construction (Germany), as well as participation in various foreign real estate investment funds.
