In Russian the direct selling industry is expected to grow to 120 billion rubles by the end of the year

At the XII conference "Entrepreneur and consumer – steps towards each other" organized by the direct selling Association (APT) and the International Confederation of consumer societies (Konfop), was declared on the growth in sales by 10% during the first 9 months of this year, including at the expense of exports.

For the first three quarters of 2016, the sales volume of APP members, which are the 16th largest company in the direct selling industry increased by 10% compared to the previous period, reaching 87.2 billion rubles. The OBA President Tamara Shokareva predicts that by the end of the year, the total turnover will reach 120 billion rubles. At the conference it was also noted that this year more than doubled export shipments, by subsidiaries of foreign companies in Russia with local production, reaching 7.3 billion.

During the conference were announced statistics on the treatment of citizens in society for the protection of the rights of consumers in the first half. As noted by the Chairman of the Board Konfop Dmitry Yanin, from more than 22 thousand complaints, none of them concerned members of the AMS.
