According to the study of the PR-Agency Ideas&Solutions, every second inhabitant of Tatarstan received information about the news of consumer electronics in mobile applications. The survey was conducted among residents of the 15 cities. Its results were compiled in the regional rankings of the most popular sources of information on the gadgets.
"For us it was a revelation that 50 % of Tatarstan prefer mobile apps to other sources of information, while in other regions of Russia this channel is an outsider. Also we were amazed that among all mobile applications AliExpress is the mainstream in which people find new appliances, although there is not present practically any brand except the Chinese, - commented Anastasia Ivanova, head of home appliances and electronics the PR-Agency Ideas&Solutions. -
Often we do not consider mobile applications as a tool of interaction with the target audience. We've learned that users typically go to websites, Google generally use other sources as they contain more information than the application. But, as shown by our study, mobile apps need to look deeper to examine behavioral factors".
The leaders of the rating are still sites and word of mouth. Learn industry news in the online media and on web resources of the online stores, 22%, and by word of mouth – 16 %.
13% of respondents from Kazan pay attention to mailing and Internet retailers, and TV and social networks serve as a source of consumer information on home appliances for 12 % of the respondents.
10% of respondents find news about home appliances on YouTube, and 9 % read about new products in classic magazines and Newspapers.
The research sample is composed with consideration of representativeness in the city of Kazan, gender and age of consumers. It was attended by 29 of the respondents aged 18 to 55 years. Confidence probability (precision) of 95 %. Confidence interval (error) – +\- of 2.84 %.
