On July 26 in Shilovsky district of the Ryazan region at the airport of Krutitsy launched the third international parachuting festival HANDI FLY International Challenge in 2018. On the first day of the festival, one of the guests was the Governor of the Ryazan region Nikolay Lyubimov. He spoke to the participants, and also reviewed on-site activities. School drones MAI with the support of the Government of the Ryazan region launched the festival special tent where everyone can try yourself as a pilot and learn to fly a drone in first person thanks to the cameras mounted on manned units and broadcast the pictures on the glasses with a view FPV (first-person-view).
Nikolai Lyubimov, who have experienced the possibilities of the educational playgrounds drones MAI highly appreciated the significance of such projects for the social adaptation of people with disabilities and expressed willingness to cooperate on the development of such programs in the Ryazan region.
"We are planning a meeting with the rector of the MAI in the near future and will discuss including such joint projects",- said the head of the Ryazan region.
The event, which is organized in the framework of the project "the Sky, open to all", attended by 120 disabled athletes from France, Sweden, Greece, Macedonia, Azerbaijan, Latvia, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia. In the Russian team to 55 people, among them two from the Ryazan region.
