July 10, 2018, Moscow — Sberbank and NGOs of the LUKOIL Group signed a number of cooperation agreements, including development of credit business card for entrepreneurs and legal entities. LUKOIL became the first partner Bank in the development phase additional services line of business cards.
"LUKOIL and the savings Bank are longstanding strategic partners, and we very much appreciate our long-standing collaboration with one of the leaders of the oil and gas industry. We hope that interaction in a new direction will be for the parties an important step towards expansion of joint projects in the line of banking products.
A new stage of cooperation between our companies will provide an opportunity for individual entrepreneurs and legal entities to purchase oil products at a higher level, to exclude cases of so-called cash gaps, i.e. insufficient funds necessary for repayment of current obligations" — said the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the savings Bank Anatoly Popov.
More than 160 thousands of businesses use business cards of the savings Bank when paying for fuel services for the sum more than 600 million rubles a month, 25% of them use the services of LUKOIL gas station.
LUKOIL is one of the largest publicly traded, vertically integrated energy companies in the world, which accounts for over 2% of world oil production and about 1% of the proven reserves of hydrocarbons. With a full production cycle, the company fully controls the entire production chain — from oil and gas to marketing of petroleum products, generates electric and thermal energy, including from renewable sources. In 2017, LUKOIL sold more than 10 million tons of petroleum products at its filling stations in Russia.
