The press service of the National Research University "MIET", announced the acquisition of a large batch of quadcopters special purpose.
On special request the main Department of MIA of Moscow National Research University "MIET" in conjunction with a production company "QuadroMotors.ru" developed quadcopters new generation, equipped with thermal imaging, night vision cameras and GPS trackers.
The new drones are able to speed up to 90 km/h, to rise above the ground up to 2 km and to raise 5 kg of payload on Board.
Vehicle quadcopters night vision cameras and imagers allow to carry out flights above the streets of Moscow at night. Police officers will have the opportunity in real time to patrol the city and keep track of offenders.
According to the head of the interior Ministry of Moscow, sale quadrocopters were carried out in the framework of the program for development of innovative technologies in the state securities of Russia.
The first tests of the drone were carried out 2015 on a closed landfill employees "MIET". After a brilliant presentation at the International aviation and space salon "MAKS-2016" the new drones have been "battle" tested in urban environments.
Also currently, work is underway to develop new technologies for satellite control of unmanned devices. This will extend the radius of patrolling up to several hundreds of kilometers from the headquarters.
